[Start!] Mid-term Program "Reconstruction of Image Studies"

Reconstruction of Image Studies
From September 2009, we will start a new mid-term education program "Reconstruction of Image Studies." The program director is Prof. Atsushi Miura.
This program aims at reconsidering images such as paintings that have been normally regarded as objects in art history from four perspectives: "meta-images," "parergon," "images and ecriture," and "genetic." From April 2009, we will begin a pre-seminar, and from September 2009 the program becomes full-scale.
