This is the report written by Ms. Chenyu Yao. This report shows how the lectures on 14th was given by Professor Takahiro Nakajima and Professor Roger Ames.

On 10th August, we had the first keynote lecture by professor Peter Hershock from University of Hawai'i, at Manoa. The next day, we went for the Halapepenui Trail hike with Dr. Sam Gon III. In this blog, these lecture and activity are reported by Ms. Yui Fujita.

We published the first volume of UTCP-Uehiro Booklet, Papers from the 2012 University of Tokyo-University of Hawai'i Summer Residential Institute in Comparative Philosophy, co-edited by Roger T. AMES, Masato ISHIDA, Takahiro NAKAJIMA and Shinji KAJITANI.

On November 6th, 2012, Professor Augustin Berque gave a lecture entitled “Mesology (fûdoron) in the light of Yamanouchi Tokuryû's Logos and lemma” at Komaba campus.

Ravishing scenery, fresh breeze and gentle rain we had experienced during the past 10 days perfected the summer institute together with conflicting philosophical ideas. Now we have come to the last two days of the second week. Here is the report of August 9th and 10th.
