Grégoire Dupont is currently a consultant at Factum Arte, Madrid, engaged in recording and management of digital images for the archiving purposes and the production of fac-similes to be used for conservation, 3D models management and technical work for the building of sculptures, for contemporary artists. He has collaborated with artists Anish Kapoor, Mark Quinn, and Peter Greenaway. In this workshop Mr. Dupont will project and discuss his recent work, a 3D animation of Giovanni Battista Piranesi’s celebrated engraving series Carceri d’invenzione, commissioned for the ongoing exhibition “Le Arti di Piranesi: architetto, incisore, antiquario, vedutista, designer.”
