【参加者募集】北京大学—オーストラリア国立大学—東京大学 第4回 Winter Institute
北京大学—オーストラリア国立大学—東京大学 第4回 Winter Instituteへの参加者を募集します。
2019年1月7日から11日にかけて、北京大学とオーストラリア国立大学と共同で、Winter Instituteを開催します。これは、北京大学との戦略的パートナーシップに基づいて始めたWinter Instituteに一昨年度から、ANUが参加することによって、規模と内容がさらに拡大をしたもので、昨年度から、正式に三校共同のWinter Instituteとして、新たに立ち上げ直したものです。今回のテーマは“History, Culture and Contested Memories: Local and Global Perspectives”です。各大学から2〜3名の教授と4〜5名の大学院生（ポスドクを含む）が参加して行う、人文学の教育・研究プログラム（英語）です。プログラムの詳細は下記を見てください。
今回は、東京大学所属の大学院生（ポスドクを含む）を4名前後募集します。
参加希望者は、A4二枚以内で、名前・所属・学生証番号・専門領域とともに、志望理由およびANUで発表予定の各自の研究内容の要旨を英語で書いて、UTCP（patwi2019[atmark]utcp.c.u-tokyo.ac.jp）までメールにてお送りください。なお、今年度のテーマは、”History, Culture and Contested Memories: Local and Global Perspectives”ですです。Call for Papersをダウンロードの上、研究発表内容について、abstractを提出してください（ここからファイルをダウンロード）。
志望理由および要旨の締め切り日は2018年11月6日（火）です。
書類選考後、第一次選考の結果を通知し、第一次選考に通った候補者に後日、面接（2018年11月8日14:00~）を行い、参加者を最終的に決定いたします。
最終的に参加者に決まった方には、2018年11月23日を目途に、フルペーパーを提出していただきます。ANUのPaul Pickering教授からのご提案は以下の通りです。
As in previous years we will invite lectures and presentations from across the humanities and social sciences. The contributors will draw on their work relevant to the theme, albeit theoretical, discipline-based, subject-based, text-based, case-studies, or interdisciplinary approaches. Like last year I hope we attract participants from a very broad range of disciplines and perspectives. We felt that the theme contains many of the critical issues confronting scholars today and it will give us an opportunity to discuss common responses both intellectual and political.
As in the past senior academics and mid- and early career researchers will present papers and graduate students will also give short presentations based on their work. We’ll invite professors and academics to nominate readings. The aim will be to produce a published proceedings similar to the collection from this year’s Institute published by U-Tokyo.なお、航空券や宿泊はすべて大学側が負担いたします。
