Political Philosophy and the Dark Arts
This is the 2nd Pre-Study Session for the May 8th Lecture going to be presented by Professor Steven Smith (Yale University, Alfred Cowles Professor of Political Science and Professor of Philosophy).
The aim of this Pre-study session is to target the Todai students to be acquainted with free discussions based on the paper. Therefore, the session is conducted mainly in Japanese.
We will be reading the following paper for the 2nd pre-session.
1. Isaiah Berlin "Political Judgement"
2. Steven Smith "The Dark Arts: Political Judgment as Political Education"
