Divine Law and Contemporary Societies: a Historical Overview of Judaism, Christianity, Islam

趣旨：
Our societies today are societies of a law without any divine dimension. In general we imagine that the history that led up to our own days was one of a separation from sacrality in the three monotheistic religions. This distinction is considered by some as an emancipation, by others as decadence.
One might well wonder, however, whether that “separation”, and its concrete translation in the institutional relations between Church and State, ever actually took place
