Dr Joyce C.H. Liu, Professor, Graduate Institute for Social Research and Cultural Studies, National Chiao Tung University and Director, International Institute for Cultural Studies, University System of Taiwan will give special lectures at the University of Tokyo, Komaba.
Prof. Liu's research interests include Comparative Literature, Cultural Studies, and Critical Theories on Politics, Aesthetics, and Ethics (Lacan, Foucault, Althusserl, Agamben etc).
This time Prof. Liu will talk on Political Philosophy in modern Chinese and East Asian Context.
