〈Outline〉
How is it possible that the aim of research in the Humanities is not only to attain simple knowledge or information, but also to become the “site” which innovates its participants' ways of life? The Humanities is the continuous activity of critically questioning humans by humans. Their radically secular and democratic power transforms each time the life of people who are eager to study together. What kind of ethics of hospitality will be opened in the site of the Humanities, based on the logic of its inconditionality, and under the conditions of the university system? This collaborative workshop between the Research Machine ‘Suyu+Trans’ and UTCP intends to think the actuality of the Humanities based on the works of Deleuze, Foucault and Derrida.

〈취지〉
인문학 연구가 단순한 지식과 정보가 아닌 그곳에 참가하는 사람들의 삶을 변혁하는 ‘현장’이 되도록 하기위해 무엇을 해야할까? 인문학이란 인간이 인간을 비판적으로 묻고 답하는 학문이다. 철저하게 세속적이고 민주적인 인문학의 힘은 같이 배우는 사람들의 삶에 개입하고 그들의 삶을 변용시킬 것이다. 그렇다면 이때 인문학의 현장은 대학의 여러 조건 속에서 또는 대학의 무조건성의 논리 속에서 어떤 환대의 윤리를 나타낼 수 있을까? 들뢰즈, 푸코, 데리다의 사상을 통해 인문학의 현재를 검토한다. 연구공간 수유＋너머와UTCP 공동 토론회
