From Prof. Haneda:
After the publication of my book The creation of the Islamic world in 2005, I reconsidered my past research and started thinking about how I should study and about what kind of research the contemporary world would need. In this lecture, I shall plainly tell you trials and errors in my study and present the direction of my future study. I will welcome your candid comments and criticisms. The keyword of my lecture is "secularization and world history."
