Japanese translation of Boyarin's Powers of Diaspora has been published.

The lectures by Prof. Ilan Pappe whom UTCP invited from Haifa Univ. in Israel last year have been published as a book in Japanese language.

Tetsuya Takahashi, member of UTCP, published Can Philosophy Constitute Resistance ?, as Collection UTCP 5.

The Japanese translation of Jacques Derrida's The University without Condition was published. This was translated by Yuji Nishiyama, and he wrote a long expository essay "Jacques Derrida and Education."

The third volume of the UTCP booklet Passages of the Epochs : Walter Benjamin Today under the edition of Kobayashi Yasuo came out.

The second volume of the UTCP booklet What are the Classics in Our Time? under the edition of Nakajima Takahiro and Kobayashi Yasuo came out.

Masashi Haneda, member of UTCP has published a new book.

Jun Tanaka, a member of UTCP published The Urban Poetics – Analyses of Urban Representation from Tokyo University Press. This is a collection of his writings, serialized in the magazine 10+1 from 2004. The total number of pages is 430. A very exciting chapter “Towards an Imageology of the Nervous System” is included.
