On February 22, 2013, an Asian Philosophy Forum workshop by Professor Yong Huang (Professor, Kutztown University of Pennsylvania, Chinese Philosophy) and Professor John Tucker (Professor, East Carolina University, Japanese Philosophy) was held. Professor Tsuyoshi ISHII (UTCP) presided the workshop and MOON Kyungnam (UTCP) spoke as a commentator.

On February 15, 2013, Professor Rein Raud (Professor, the University of Helsinki) gave a presentation entitled "Rethinking Dōgen" at Komaba Campus.

On November 17, 2012, a workshop entitled "Asian Philosophy Forum Workshop: Whither Chinese Philosophy?" was held. We, UTCP, invited Professor John Makeham who is a Professor at Australian National University and Dr. Fabian Heubel who is an Associate Research Fellow at Academia Sinica. Professor Tsuyoshi Ishii from UTCP moderated it, and Professor Takahiro Nakajima from UTCP and I, Kazuya Kawase, spoke as commentators there. This workshop was a stimulating experience for me, since I usually study Hegelian not Chinese philosophy.

On November 6th, 2012, Professor Augustin Berque gave a lecture entitled “Mesology (fûdoron) in the light of Yamanouchi Tokuryû's Logos and lemma” at Komaba campus.
