The 5th Annual Philosophical Meeting for Young Scholars of BESETO was held on January 8 and 9, 2011. 38 young philosophers from Peking University, Seoul National University and University of Tokyo gave talks in the conference.

The graduate workshop of the philosophy of mind held on March 25th at the University of Birmingham Philosophy Department, and four UTCP researchers made presentations in the workshop. Here is a brief report about it.

On November 22nd, I gave a talk titled "Saving Simulation-Theory from 'Collapse Arguments'".

At Florey Neuroscience Institutes in Melbourne, 6 UTCP members and Prof. Neil Levy had talks at Workshop “Brain Science and Ethics” held on March 23, 2010. This workshop was the final event of the UTCP Program in Brain Sciences and Ethics.

The third Komaba Brain Café, titled "What is Morality? Brain Sciences Reveal Mechanisms of Moral Cognition," was held on July 9, 2009. “Komaba Brain Café” aims at providing venues for a free and active dialogue with those who are interested in brain science, neuroscience, and neuroethics.
